Website information
Cookie Policy
Film Critique uses a limited local browser preference to remember your cookie notice choice and help provide a consistent browsing experience. This page explains what is stored and how you can manage it.
Local storage and preferences
- Filmcritique cookie notice
- Saves a simple acceptance value in your browser after you dismiss the cookie notice. This preference keeps the notice closed when you return to the website using the same browser, unless you clear your local storage or browser data.
This preference is used only to remember your interaction with the notice. It is not designed to identify you personally, build an individual profile, or track your activity across other websites. Local storage remains on your device and can be managed through your browser settings.
Analytics and advertising
Film Critique does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. We do not use this local preference to deliver targeted advertisements, measure individual browsing behaviour, or create marketing profiles. If the website's storage practices change in the future, this policy will be updated to explain the relevant technologies and their purposes.
Our editorial content, including film reviews, release coverage, recommendations, and cinema guides, can be browsed without accepting optional analytics or advertising cookies.
Managing browser settings
You can inspect, restrict, or remove locally stored website data through the privacy or site settings in your browser. Clearing this data may reset your cookie notice preference, meaning the notice could appear again on your next visit. You can also configure your browser to block or remove website storage, although some site preferences may then need to be selected again.
Browser controls differ depending on the software and device you use. Consult your browser's help documentation for instructions on managing local storage, cookies, and related privacy settings.
